Why are fathers always over protective? Why do they always question us girls who is it we are going to the movies with. I know they are only trying to protective us but don't you think it sometimes gets out of hand or to far. For the very first time without my mom asking for me I had ask my dad if I can go to my best friend 15th birthday party. I've been wanting to go to this party since I was invited.
I never get to see her anymore since her moving schools due to a problem. And I miss you her so much and I was excited to see her again and I don't know how many months it been since I seen her. What my father doesn't understand that mostly all our friends are going and they are the same age as me. I know their parents are different but my mom said I could go but I also have to have my dad permission but I already knew he wasn't going to let me go because I knew my father to well.
I just don't understand why my father has to be so strict. Why he can't let me go have a little fun since every weekend is always the same. Me at home on Friday, Saturday and on Sunday go to church, go out to eat and then stuck at home once again. I never do anything and the one weekend I want to go have fun with my friends at my best friends 15th birthday party my father had to say no.
He tried his best to give me his answer as soft as he could but he couldn't. I know he just trying to protect me from harm but he needs to understand that a teenager needs to have fun once in a while.
